Your CV: Which Way is the Right Way?Your CV: Which Way is the Right Way?Don’t underestimate the power of a good CV. Everyone wants to know which way is the “right” way. While there may not be a universally agreed on method of writing a good CV, this does not mean there is no “right” way.
Guy Williams states “A résumé is a marketing tool with you as the product.” Bearing this is mind, your CV should be tailored to attract prospective employers to your product. This means you should carefully consider what you have on offer. Do your skills meet the employer’s needs? Why are you the best candidate for the role?
As a recent graduate, you may not have had much experience writing cover letters and CV's. This could place you at a disadvantage, as you will be up against other candidates with a more attractive employment history.
We want to help you! EBR are offering a CV and Cover Letter guide for all recent graduates. You can also send us a copy of your CV, and one of our friendly staff will review it and email you some feedback.
Email us today at feedback@ebr.com.au for your FREE CV and Cover Letter guide.
