Job Description: Fantastic opening for a GIS Geologist Database Manager in Adelaide

The company is a leading mining consultancy, providing services to the mineral sector.  They have a fantastic opening for a GIS Geologist Database Manager for an in-house role in Adelaide.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have previous experience in administration of relational databases, preferably geological data.
• Be able to work with and monitor the use of clients' database requirements.
• Demonstrate a high degree of organisational and administrative skills.
• Be an effective user of Windows and MS Office.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be prepared to do some site work when required.
• Be able to travel internationally when required.

Qualification required:

• Must have a Degree in Geology or related 
• Knowledge of sampling methodology and analytical techniques
• Experience in GIS system such as MapInfo or ArcGIS
• 1-2 years experience in the mining industry, including technical or operational roles
• Membership of or eligibility to an industry recognised professional organisation.
