| Job Description | Be a member of a multi disciplinary team that contributes to maintaining the long term performance of the company's assets. The position will have a key role in providing technical input into the determining and managing the risk of failure of assets to provide a reliable and financially sustainable service to their customers. Major Responsibilities: - Develop and monitor asset condition monitoring programs
- Develop and monitor asset preventive maintenance programs to manage risk
- Develop and monitor the asset renewal programs to manage risk
Essential Requirements: - Hold an Engineering Degree or Diploma from an Australian University or TAFE.
- Working knowledge of the water supply and Sewerage system.
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills & demonstrate skills in the coordination of work programs.
- Ability to work with limited direction to display a self-managed proactive approach to resolving complex issues.
- Excellent Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed computer skills in the areas of word processing, mapping, spreadsheets and databases.
Desired Skills: - Experience in the use of asset management programs such as GIS.
