Job Description: Spatial Data Officer (ArcGIS & MapInfo)

The role for this position will be:

• Responsible for operating GIS or other related mapping software in the collection, integration and verification of spatial data.
• Investigating and analysing anomalies with the integration of spatial data
• Responsible for producing digital data
• Liaise with internal and external customers (including the public)
• Provide assistance in Data Maintenance activities when required.

The Skills we are looking for to successfully achieve this are:

• High level of ArcGIS skills (data editing, product construction)
• MapInfo
• High level of spatial data management and manipulation skills
• Experience manipulating and analysing complex spatial data
• Local Government experience
• Previous experience in customer liaison
