| Job Description | As part of the company's increased exploration activity they currently have a vacancy for an experienced geologist with a sound knowledge of GIS within the Resource Development team. Your main Responsibilities would be: - Provide GIS data management and validation (Arcview)
- Manage and validate geological data
- Statutory reporting for Government Departments.
- Assist with supervision of drill programs using aircore, vacuum, RAB or diamond rigs.
- Supervision of contractors, geologists and field assistants in the field as required.
- Mentoring of geological field staff.
- Coordination, management and reporting as required.
- Assist with development of exploration programs.
- Evaluate, supervise and coordinate Contractors and Service Providers.
The Successful candidate for this role will possess: - A Tertiary degree in Geology or any related field
- Min 5 years experience as a Geologist
- Previous experience in exploration operations will be highly regarded
- 2 Years experience working with GIS Software
- Understanding of QA/QC issues for geological data
- A current C Class WA Drivers Licence
